Revival of the BISP Program:
After PML-N leader Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Shareef took oath as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, BISP 8171 verified the year 2023 online and all benefits including Ehsaas Kafalat were recovered.
As a result, the budget for the BISP Benazir Income Support Program 2023 increased by 35% for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
BISP Updates July 2023:
